Boston Shines this Saturday, May 10

Hurley Blocks, 9 am - 12 noon

Help clean-up the Hurley Blocks and meet / socialize with neighbors now that spring has finally arrived. Pick up supplies beginning at 9 a.m. at the Hurley School. Place all yard waste at the corner of Worcester and Shawmut for special pick-up by the city by 12:30 pm (in designated paper bags or open barrels labeled accordingly). Event will be held rain or shine.

Blackstone and Franklin Squares, 10 a.m. to clean

Come out, grab a broom and a rake, a cup of coffee and a donut, and most importantly, mingle with your neighbors.

Chester Square

(between Washington and Tremont and Springfield and Northampton)
9 a.m. - 12 noon: Meet for coffee at the tent at 9 a.m. on the West side of Chester Square Park on Mass. Ave. (odd numbered of the street) to get your tools and bags. Socialize and get snacks after the clean up.
11:30 a.m.: Scavenger hunt for young children
1 - 2 p.m.:Window Box / Planter workshop. Please RSVP for the Window Box workshop by emailing info@chestersquareassociation.org
