On Wednesday, January 19 Governor Charlie Baker, Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, Secretary of Education James Peyser, and Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care Commissioner Samantha Aigner-Treworgy visited Ellis Early Education Center for a press conference announcing a new COVID testing initiative for early education centers across the state, in continued partnership with Neighborhood Villages.
Ellis Chief Executive Officer, Lauren Cook, opened the press conference with remarks about the impact this program has on the early education sector, explaining "COVID testing has been absolutely critical to continuing our operations."
