New Cross outside the Cathedral

A cross depicting Jesus crucified has been moved from the Jeanne Jugan Nursing Home in Somerville, which is a former Catholic nursing home operated by the Little Sisters of the Poor, and moved to the front entrance of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. Donated in memory of their parents by Bishop Robert Deeley of Portland, Maine and his brother, Rev. Kevin Deeley, the cross was refurbished by the Fallon Company.
