Local Emerson College Students Earn Dean's List Honors

The following students are named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the Spring 2022 semester. The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Yuhe Chen of Boston is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Class of 2023.

Tiantian Guo of Boston is majoring in Marketing Communication and is a member of the Class of 2025.

Tianyi Kong of Boston is majoring in Public Relations and is a member of the Class of 2025.

Meiyi Li of Boston is majoring in Communication Studies and is a member of the Class of 2023.

Trevor McLean of Boston is majoring in Communication Studies and is a member of the Class of 2022.

Alex Mollo of Boston is majoring in Design/Technology and is a member of the Class of 2023.

Samiha Khashoggi of Boston Graduates from Emerson College

Emerson College awarded more than 1,000 undergraduate degrees during its 142nd Commencement at Agganis Arena on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Samiha Khashoggi from Boston, MA (02118) received a BA in Media Arts Production and graduated in August 2022.

During the ceremony, the College honored three award-winning artists, innovators, and Emersonians for their contributions and efforts to the arts, communication, and greater humanity. Crazy Rich Asians and Raya and the Last Dragon screenwriter Adele Lim '96; composer and singer Toshi Reagon, and Emerson Trustee, founder and chairman of Samuels & Associates, and film producer Steve Samuels each received honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degrees. Lim '96 gave the commencement address.

Bates College

Bates College graduated 477 students from 39 U.S. states and 40 nations on May 29, 2022.

Carla Guichard of Boston, Mass., graduated after majoring in sociology at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Guichard, the daughter of Eric Guichard and Sophie V. Benzie and Patrick E. Benzie, is a 2018 graduate of Boston Latin School.

Max Harford of Boston, Mass., graduated after majoring in economics and minoring in Russian at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Harford, the son of Simon N. Harford and Tina J. Courtney-Harford, is a 2018 graduate of The American International School in England.

Located in Lewiston, Maine, Bates is internationally recognized as a leading liberal arts college, attracting 2,000 students from across the U.S. and around the world.

The College of the Holy Cross

The College of the Holy Cross is excited to welcome Tiffany Cespedes Tavarez of Boston as a member of the College's Class of 2026.

At 904 students, representing the largest class in Holy Cross' 179-year history, the Class of 2026 hails from 575 high schools, 14 countries and four continents. Twenty-five percent of the class are students of color and international students; 24 languages are spoken; and 50 members hold dual citizenship. Nine students live within 1 mile of campus, which is about the same number as those who live more than 5,000 miles from The Hill.
