At approximately 7:36 AM on Tuesday a pedestrian was struck by an MBTA bus at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Traveler Street.

MBTA Transit Police report that the pedestrian was an adult male and was seriously injured. Boston Police report the man's injuries as "life-threatening".

MBTA Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan said, "Transit Police detectives are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident,"
